Qatar has again approached United Nations Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres and the President of the UN Security Council, raising concerns over what it described as a flagrant violation of its national sovereignty and a direct threat to its security due to ongoing Iranian attacks on its territory.
This is Qatar’s 9th letter to UN, submitted by Qatar’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani.
According to the letter, Qatar’s air defense systems intercepted multiple hostile aerial targets between 28th of February and 16th March. Qatar further requested that its letter be circulated as an official document of the Security Council.
